Job summary

Pscfl is seeking a Radiology Imaging Technician to operate portable and stationary x-ray equipment and prepare examination rooms. You will follow Radiation Safety and ALARA policies, ensure patient comfort, and maintain room readiness.

You will document exam details in Cerner, prepare patients, and assist in OR and ER imaging using C-arm. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Accredited School of Radiology Technology preferred.
• Able to relate cooperatively and constructively with patients, families, and co-workers.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of radiation safety and dose reduction techniques.
• Documents Fluoro times, KVp, and mAS for X-rays in Cerner.
• Adjusts equipment and positions patients for correct imaging.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, patients and families during exams.
• Transmits patient information into PACS after examinations.
