Job summary

Pscfl is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographs using both portable and stationary x-ray equipment. The role emphasizes strict adherence to Radiation Safety and ALARA policies, patient safety, and accurate data entry into PACS.

You will prepare exam rooms, assist patients, and maintain equipment and supplies while ensuring comfort and safety during procedures. Required are an active ARRT registration and a Florida radiography license, along with AMA

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required and active throughout employment.
• General x-ray license for Florida must be active throughout employment.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and provide safe imaging practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate portable and stationary x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs.
• Adhere to ALARA and Radiation Safety policies to minimize patient dose.
• Document exposure data (KVp, mAs) and enter into PACS after exams.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist patients during procedures.
• Communicate clearly with staff, physicians, and patients to ensure safe, efficient imaging.
