To provide high-quality imaging procedures to patients and physicians in a respectful, efficient, safe, and clean environment.
Formal Education / Training: Radiologic Technology diploma or degree from an accredited college or university; must meet CE requirements.
BLS: Required within 90 days of hire.
Workplace Experience: Preferably at least one year of clinic setting experience post-graduation; willing to train if necessary.
Equipment and Skills Training: General knowledge of various x-ray equipment and computers; training on specific equipment at Williamson Health; previous training in fluoroscopy, surgery, and routine studies preferred.
Physical Environment: Practice radiation safety and universal precautions in a multi-modality imaging department.
Physical Effort: Ability to perform multiple tasks including operating equipment, assisting patient movement, bending, twisting, lifting 20 pounds, clear communication, decision-making in emergencies, and maintaining emotional stability.
