To provide high-quality imaging procedures to patients and physicians in a respectful, efficient, safe, and clean environment.
Formal Education / Training: Radiologic Technology diploma or degree; compliance with CE requirements.
BLS: Required within 90 days of hire.
Workplace Experience: Preference for at least one year in a clinical setting post-graduation; willing to train otherwise.
Equipment and Skills: Knowledge of various x-ray equipment and computers; training provided on specific equipment at Williamson Health; previous training in fluoroscopy, surgery, and routine studies preferred.
Physical Environment: Practice radiation safety and universal precautions.
Physical Effort: Ability to manipulate equipment, assist with patient movement, bend, twist, lift 20 pounds, communicate effectively, and make decisions in urgent situations.
