To provide high-quality imaging procedures to patients and physicians in a respectful, efficient, safe, and clean environment.
Formal Education / Training: Radiologic Technology diploma or degree from an accredited institution. Must meet CE requirements.
BLS: Required within 90 days of hire.
Workplace Experience: Preferably at least one year in a clinical setting post-graduation; willing to train otherwise.
Equipment and Skills: General knowledge of various x-ray equipment and computers. Training provided on specific Williamson Health equipment. Experience in fluoroscopy, surgery, and routine studies preferred.
Physical Environment: Radiation safety and universal precautions are practiced.
Physical Effort: Ability to manipulate equipment, assist patient movement, bend, twist, lift 20 pounds, communicate clearly, make decisions in emergencies, and demonstrate emotional stability.
