Job summary

BayCare Health System in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist – Pool to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, supporting operating room and emergency imaging services while delivering outstanding patient care with a strong customer-service orientation.

This on-site role requires BLS, Florida license, and ARRT eligibility (or ARRT within 6 months). The position supports BayCare Hospital Wesley Chapel with varied shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT Registry Eligible or ARRT within 6 months.
• Radiology – State of Florida license.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or Associate Degree – Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Radiology Technologist – Pool Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
