Qualifications

• 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram, and/or MRI required.
• Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• State of Florida Radiology certification is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Handle imaging patient care, RIS data management, and clerical duties.

Position Details

Facility: BayCare Health System, Diagnostic Imaging - South Florida Baptist Hospital

Location: Plant City, FL

Status: Part Time, Exempt: No

Shift: Shift 1, Days

Weekend Work: Occasional

On Call: Yes

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Preferred

1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) – Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) – within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
