Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures and support imaging services across the facility in Riverview, FL.

The role requires ARRT Registry eligibility or Florida license within 6 months, a technical radiology degree, and strong customer service skills. On-call is included with shift options and a patient-focused, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Support minor invasive procedures and assist in OR and ED imaging.
• Manage RIS data, file room, and general clerical duties; assist physicians.
• Provide patient transportation and maintain patient care standards.
• Demonstrate strong time management, critical thinking, and communication skills.

• Location: Riverview, FL
• Status: Pool, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 8, 10, 12 hr shifts
• Shift : Shift 4, Varies
• On Call: Yes

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

• Preferred 1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI.

Requirements:

• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
