Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, support OR and ED imaging, and ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires BLS, Florida radiology license, ARRT eligibility or certification within 6 months, and an associate's degree or technical radiology diploma. Shift 6:30am–5:00pm, with occasional weekends and on‑call.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT Registry Eligible; ARRT certification within 6 months.
• Radiology license for the State of Florida.
• Technical Diploma or Associates Degree in Radiology.
• Experience with vascular cases in the OR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support OR and ED diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, clerical duties, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Preferred

experience with vascular cases in the OR

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• AART (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
