Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Radiology Technologist in Diagnostic Imaging to perform radiographic procedures with attention to patient safety and comfort. You will work under an authorized user to capture diagnostic images while following radiation protection practices.

Requirements include ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology and eligibility for state licensure where applicable, with EPIC and PACS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from ARRT accredited program preferred.
• Certification and registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• State licensure preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Obtains patient history and labs for documentation.
• Positions patient to optimize imaging quality.
• Uses radiation protection principles to minimize exposure.
• Performs radiographic procedures with imaging equipment.
• Verifies consent and completes pre/post procedure docs.
• Assists with fluoroscopic procedures and sterile technique.
