Job summary

Mercy Health – St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging under supervision, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images.

The role requires ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology and state licensure where applicable, with at least one year of radiology experience. You will work with physicians and the radiology team to position patients, apply radiation protection, and document procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT-certified in Diagnostic Radiology; state licensure preferred
• 1 year radiation safety and patient care experience preferred
• BLS required at certain locations or prior to independent patient care

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and lab work for imaging.
• Position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
• Apply radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment and accessories to perform procedures.
• Verify informed consent and document pre/post procedure details.
• Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and radiographic procedures.
• Follow procedures for timeouts and aseptic technique.
• Identify and/or administer medications/contrast as prescribed.
