Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for Diagnostic Imaging at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

The role involves performing radiographic procedures, maintaining ALARA standards, and collaborating with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality imaging and safe patient care. Candidates should have ARRT certification and an associate degree in radiologic technology; EPIC EHR and PACS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified radiologic technologist with ARRT registration.
• Associate degree in radiologic technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and labs for documentation.
• Position and immobilize patient for imaging procedures.
• Apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Operate imaging equipment and accessories for radiographs.
• Document orders and verify informed consent.
• Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
• Produce quality diagnostic images and document patient dose.
• Interact professionally with staff, patients, and families.
