Job summary

BayCare Health System in Riverview, FL, seeks a Radiology Technologist-Outpatient to join BayCare Outpatient Imaging - Big Bend. This part-time, day shift role performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with a focus on patient care and service excellence.

• ARRT registry eligibility or ARRT eligibility within 6 months.
• Radiology licensure in the state of Florida.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) or Associate's Degree in Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support imaging services in OR/ED.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, filing, and clerical tasks.
• Demonstrates strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibits time management, critical thinking, and written and verbal communication.
• Utilizes computer systems relevant to the position.

• Location: 10141 Big Bend Rd., Suite 102, Riverview, FL 33578
• Status: Part Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 7-5:30
• Shift: Shift 1, Days
• Weekend Work: None
• On Call: No

Radiology Technologist-Outpatient Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Preferred

1 year experience in CT Technologist, Electrocardiogram and/or MRI

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
• Radiology – State of Florida
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology
