Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.

The role performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, supports OR and emergency imaging, and ensures imaging patient care with RIS data management and related duties. The ideal candidate holds a Florida radiography license (or ARRT eligibility with completion within 6 months) and has BLS.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• ARRT Registry Eligible; OR ARRT within 6 months.
• Radiology – State of Florida license.
• Technical Diploma (Radiology) OR Associates Degree – Radiology.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• May perform minor invasive procedures and support operating room and emergency department diagnostic imaging services.
• Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, RIS data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation.
• Must have customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates time management, critical thinking, written, and verbal skills.
• Possesses computer skills appropriate to the position.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologists) - Registry Eligible; OR – ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) - within 6 months
