Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. You will prepare patients, verify orders, document clinical history, and follow ALARA principles to maximize safety.

The role requires ARRT MR certification on hire, a Radiologic Technology specialty training, and a strong knowledge of MRI protocols, patient safety, and data management.

Formación

• Certification by ARRT (MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB (MR) is required upon hire.
• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology Specialty Training Program; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRI protocols, patient safety, and data management.
• Ability to educate others, evaluate images, and assist with interventional procedures.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and organizational priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history.
• Perform MRI procedures, select pulse sequences, and evaluate image quality.
• Administer medications, assist with interventional procedures, and ensure safety protocols.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare staff, participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. The role involves preparing patients, ensuring proper identification, and documenting clinical history while maintaining confidentiality. They utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety. Additional duties include evaluating image quality, verifying data transfer, administering medications as prescribed, and assisting with interventional procedures. They also educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks. The technologist demonstrates proficiency in routine and complex tasks, participates in quality improvement activities, and adheres to organizational policies.

Qualifications And Skills
