Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Pittsburgh seeks an MRI Technologist to independently operate MRI equipment, prep patients, and analyze imaging data for diagnosis and research, ensuring proper identification and confidentiality.

You will apply imaging protocols, maintain ALARA safety, prepare medications as prescribed, document activities, and contribute to student and provider education while supporting interventional procedures.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT MR or equivalent certification.
• Graduate of Radiologic Technology program; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of MRI safety, technical imaging principles, and patient care.

Role Overview:

MRI Technologists perform and assist with magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They independently operate MRI equipment, prepare patients, and analyze imaging data for interpretation by licensed practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
