Based on skills and experience, there is potential to advance to MRI Technologist II. The role requires ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT certification or eligibility and a radiologic technology program graduate, with a related bachelor's preferred; ongoing education is expected.

Qualifications

• New graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Graduation from a radiologic technology program; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring proper patient identification, preparation, and safety.
• Optimize imaging protocols and evaluate image quality.
• Administer medications as prescribed; assist with interventional procedures.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers; apply MRI safety principles; participate in safety investigations.
