Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist to independently perform radiographic examinations per department protocols and ACR standards. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and patient experience while utilizing state-of-the-art imaging equipment and PACS.

Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited Radiology Technology Program with registry eligibility and preferably an Associate degree in Radiology Technology, plus at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program and registry eligible.
• Associates Degree in Radiology Technology preferred.
• At least one year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists patients, ensuring safety and comfort and verifies exam orders.
• Performs exams following ALARA principles and department protocols.
• Completes imaging studies with accurate documentation and proper coding.
• Sends and stores images in PACS and maintains records per policy.
• Maintains clean, safe work environment and coordinates with staff to ensure efficiency.
