Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts seeks a Radiology Technologist to independently perform radiographic exams following department protocols and ALARA standards, while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

You will operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment, manage PACS uploads, educate patients, and coordinate with radiologists and the health care team to maintain quality, safety, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program and registry eligible.
• Associates degree in Radiology Technology preferred.
• At least one year of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets, escorts, assesses, educates and identifies patients.
• Performs exams utilizing ALARA standards.
• Completes imaging examinations following established protocols.
• Enters examinations and ensures accurate documentation and charges.
• Sends and stores images in PACS and maintains records.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment and fosters safety culture.
• Transports and provides ambulatory assistance as needed.
• Educates patients and families and communicates with the healthcare team.
