Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is seeking a Radiology Technologist to independently perform radiographic examinations in accordance with department protocols and ACR imaging standards, while maintaining safety and quality in a busy imaging department.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program, registry eligibility, and Massachusetts licensure within 12 months; responsibilities include patient education, image transfer to PACS, and adherence to ALARA

Qualificações

• Education Required: Completed accredited Radiology Technology Program and registry eligible.
• Education Preferred: Associates Degree in a Radiology Technology.
• Experience Preferred: At least one year.

Responsabilidades

• Greets, escorts, assesses, educates and identifies patients.
• Performs exams utilizing ALARA standards (As Low as Reasonably Acceptable).
• Completes diagnostic imaging examinations following established exam protocols established by Radiologists.
• Enters examinations correctly with accurate documentation and charges.
• Electronically sends and stores images and data in PACS.
• Maintains department records and logs to monitor quality and safety.
