Job summary

Advocate Health Mercy, a facility of Carolinas Medical Center, is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures under the radiologist’s direction.

You will document patient history, verify identity, prepare contrast, and coordinate daily activities while maintaining records and assisting with clerical duties. Must be ARRT‑recognized and registry eligible with CPR certification; knowledge of growth and development required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year; CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of growth and development for patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition.
• Verifies patient identity and prepares/ administers contrast as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians.
• Operates equipment and maintains records per department standards.
