Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Monroeville, PA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures with independence and clinical judgment. You will analyze image quality, position patients, and ensure safety.

Responsibilities include preparing contrast media under orders, monitoring patients, and reporting results. The role requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, ARRT certification within 6 months of hire, CPR certification, and compliance with background clearance requirements.

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiography certification required within 6 months of hire.
• CPR certification required (American Heart Association).
• Background check clearances (Act 34/33/73) required.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging procedures with appropriate exposure factors and image quality.
• Review patient history and orders; educate patient about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications when ordered; monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; ensure safety standards and perform quality control on equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
