Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in radiologic technology.
• ARRT RT or NMTCB CNMT certification required at hire.
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Preferred CT technologist experience.
• CPR certification and state/federal clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Position patient and perform imaging procedures independently.
• Review history and orders; educate patient about procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors and ensure safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report malfunctions.
