Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across multiple areas, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. The role requires ARRT certification and state licensure where services are provided, plus BLS within 30 days of hire.

You will collaborate with radiology staff to deliver efficient patient care, training, and supervision as needed, following department policies and Joint Commission guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current Radiography License as required by the state where services will be provided.
• National ARRT certification required for applicable locations.

Responsibilities

• Rotate in all diagnostic areas to develop technical skills (fluoro, mobiles, routine, OR, endoscopy, orthopedics).
• Perform imaging procedures based on patient status and service requests following imaging protocols.
• Produce high-quality images and ensure proper archiving and delivery.
• Select exposure factors based on patient size and pathology to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation.
• Promote safety and minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
