Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic exams in general radiology and uphold patient-centered care. The role emphasizes radiation safety, procedural accuracy, and professional instruction within a team-oriented environment at Royal Oak, MI.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited Radiography program.
• Active ARRT registrations as CRT-Radiologic Technologist and CRT-Radiographer (R) required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire; HCP-level certification accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology.
• Apply radiation protection principles and comply with applicable regulations.
• Assume responsibility for designated area and provide clinical instruction as appropriate.

ARRT CRT-Radiologic Technologist registration

ARRT CRT-Radiographer (R) - required upon hire

About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 Beaumont doctors on faculty.

Scope of work Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. Applies principles of radiation protection and complies with regulations. Assumes responsibility for designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. Follows Corewell health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications Required

• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at student level.
• Required CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
