Job summary

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, MI is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams accurately while following ALARA principles and regulatory requirements.

You will be part of a team that ensures patient safety and high-quality imaging, with preferred experience in radiology and a JRCERT-accredited program. This is a part-time, on-site position supporting our radiology department.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent.
• Graduate of JRCERT-accredited radiography program.
• 1 year of relevant experience in radiology.
• 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• Preferred ARRT Radiologic Technologist registration.
• CRT-CT per ARDMS; excludes hires before 2008.
• CRT-BLS (AHA) at hire or ARC BLS at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic CT examinations following ALARA principles and regulations.
• Ensure patient safety, image quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with radiology team to support timely patient care.

Scope of work

As a CT Technologist with Corewell Health, you can turn detailed images into life-changing diagnoses. You'll be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic CT exams while following regulations and ALARA principles of radiation protection. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications Required

• Associate's Degree


• Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.


• 1 year of relevant experience


• 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.


• Preferred CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist


• Upon Hire required CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008.


• 1 Year required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required


• Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
