Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Lake Zurich area. The role requires rotating weekends, on-call shifts, and holiday rotations with potential offsite assignments to Crystal Lake or Lake Zurich. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Responsibilities include operating x-ray equipment, maintaining ALARA standards, and documenting procedures in RIS/HIS systems. The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT (RT) Certification.
• 1 year experience in general radiography and related procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by a physician.
• Adheres to infection prevention, sterile techniques and ALARA principles.
• Ensures patient identification and comfort; documents procedures.
• Maintains radiographic quality and RIS/HIS data entry.
