Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital is seeking a Radiology X-ray technologist to perform diagnostic imaging with general radiography, fluoroscopy, GI, Urology, and C-arm/O-arm procedures. The role requires safeguarding patient safety, following ALARA, and maintaining accurate RIS/PACS documentation.

Weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities are part of the schedule, with rotation to offsite locations in Crystal Lake and Lake Zurich. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology is required.
• Current ARRT (RT) Certification; state license as applicable.
• 1 year experience with general diagnostic and fluoroscopy procedures.

Aufgaben

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs per physician orders.
• Ensure safety by following ALARA and infection control standards.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and department standards.
• Identify patients correctly and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
• Document procedures in RIS/HIS and manage imaging records.
• Maintain professional behavior and customer-focused interactions.
