Job summary

Ascension Alexian Brothers in Elk Grove Village, IL seeks a Radiologic Technologist for a full-time, rotating-shift role with every other weekend. Location: Elk Grove Village, IL; Department: Diagnostic Radiology. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000.00.

Responsibilities include obtaining high-quality radiologic images, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring timely PACS submissions. Minimum requirements include BLS within 30 days of hire and Illinois radiologic technologist

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or credentialed as radiologic technologist in Illinois prior to hire date.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• Cardiographic Tech or Radiography ARRT/CCI/IEMA credentials within 12 months may be required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain high-quality radiologic images by positioning patients and selecting exposure parameters.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, minimize patient exposure, and administer contrast as needed.
• Monitor patient well-being during procedures and report abnormalities.
• Submit images and data to PACS promptly and maintain equipment functionality.
• Maintain a clean, orderly department and support protocol updates.
