Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking an X-ray Tech to operate radiologic equipment for diagnostic imaging at Lisle/Naperville locations. This full-time role requires rotating shifts, including evenings, holidays, and some weekend coverage, with travel between Lisle MOB and Lombard sites.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent, AART registration or eligibility, IDNS license, and CPR certification. 6 months to 2 years related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Must be AART registered or eligible; IDNS licensed.
• CPR certification.
• 6 months to 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of body as directed by Radiologist.
• Positions patient and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Moves x-ray equipment and adjusts exposure factors (time and distance).
• Practices radiation protection to minimize exposure.
• Obtain patient history and maintain accurate records.
• Maintains crash cart and stock inventory; adheres to OSHA regulations.
• Performs quality control on film; supports department workflow.
• Work evenings and holidays; collaborate with team to expedite patient flow.
