Job summary

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology.
Current ARRT (RT) Certification.
1 year experience in general diagnostic and related procedures.

Responsibilities

Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by a physician.
Accountable for performance and documentation of diagnostic procedures.
Safe use and operation of general radiography, portable, fluoro, C-arm and O-arm equipment.
Proficient in GI, Pain, Urology, C-arm and O-arm procedures.
Adheres to infection prevention and ALARA principles.
Ensure correct patient identification and comfort during exams.
Maintain radiographic quality and review images for optimum quality.
Report equipment problems and perform RIS/HIS computer functions.
Maintain supplies and cleanliness; adhere to universal precautions.
Attend in-services and CPR classes; maintain state license and certification.
