Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiology Technologist II at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center - Pain Management in Chicago. The role supports fluoroscopy in surgery, operates C-arm systems, and collaborates with radiologists to deliver high-quality imaging.

The position is part-time with 20 hours weekly and day shifts, Monday through Friday. Applicants should be graduates of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with ARRT certification, and CPR trained.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certificate with 10 years of experience or Assoc. Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• 3 years experience as a General Radiographer.
• Surgery and fluoroscopy trained.

Responsibilities

• Maneuvers portable radiographic equipment in patient care areas and in surgery as required.
• Operates all components including locking devices on radiographic, fluoroscopic equipment and c-arms.
• Assists radiologists in performing fluoroscopic examinations.
• Performs radiographic examination in surgery as required.
• Operates all components of the Digital Imaging System.
• Assists radiologists in performing mini-special procedures in the fluoroscopic suites.
• Performs radiographic procedures on Level I Trauma patients to expedite immediate care of critically ill patients.
• Prepare patients for exam; obtain history, explain procedures, position patients, ensure comfort.
