Job summary

Advocate Health in Chicago seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures with emphasis on surgical and fluoroscopic exams. You will operate x-ray and C-arm equipment, prepare patients, verify procedures, and assist radiologists while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT CPR certification, and experience in surgical/fluoroscopy settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification with 10 years of experience or an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• 3 years experience as a General Radiographer.
• Surgery and fluoroscopy trained.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as specified by a physician.
• Maneuvers portable radiographic equipment in patient care areas and in surgery.
• Operates all components including locking devices on radiographic, fluoroscopic equipment and c-arms.
• Assists radiologists in performing fluoroscopic examinations.
• Performs radiographic examination in surgery as required.
• Operates Digital Imaging System components and assists with procedures.
