Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
• IDNS license.
• 1-3 years experience as a general radiographer.
• Knowledge of Health Information System.
• Basic knowledge of radiology equipment.
• Certified in radiology and registered by ARRT.
• CPR certification
• Licensed by IDNS.

Responsibilities

• Determine radiological technique and position for patient.
• Position patient and adjust equipment.
• Assist radiologists with procedures including advanced and specialty procedures.
• Maintain safety standards and shielding; follow universal precautions.
• Maintain patient records, daily statistics, and scheduling.
• Perform quality control tasks and label images per department standards.
