Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• IEMA Accreditation in Radiologic Technology.
• Current ARRT (RT) Certification.
• 1 year experience in general diagnostic, general fluoroscopy, GI, Pain, Urology, C-arm and O-arm procedures.

Responsabilités

• Operates x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body as ordered by a physician.
• Accountable for the performance and documentation of all diagnostic procedures utilizing proper technical parameters to produce quality studies.
• Adheres to ALARA principles in performance of exams to reduce exposure to self, the patient and others.
• Obtains and records pertinent patient history, explains the procedure to patient to ensure understanding, ensures patient comfort during performance of exam.
• Labels all radiographs appropriately following department's established criteria and standards.
• Maintains professionalism and teamwork with co-workers, physicians and internal customers/departments.
