Highland Hospital, part of Alameda Health System, is seeking a Radiology Technologist II on a per diem basis with varied shifts in Oakland. The role performs diagnostic imaging procedures under supervision, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, developing films, and utilizing PACS, with potential involvement in training students and staff as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required.
• CA Fluoroscopy permit required.
• Mammography certification as applicable.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification required.
• CA Public Health Radiologic Technologist certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures as directed.
• Operate radiology equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Develop films and use PACS system for image retrieval.
• Maintain sterile technique and department cleanliness.
• Assist in training students and staff as needed.
• Rotate assignments and assist in rooming patients.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

BLS - Basic Life Support

Fluoroscopy Permit (CA DHS)

Mammography certification

ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification

CA Public Health Radiologic Technologist certificate
