Job summary

Alameda Health System is seeking Radiologic Technologists I–IV for Highland General Hospital in Oakland, CA. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging, fluoroscopy, and CT procedures under supervision, with responsibility for proper patient positioning and image quality.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT certification, a California fluoroscopy permit, and hands-on experience with GE CT and X-ray equipment. The position is full-time with an overnight shift.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; ARRT certification required.
• Two years of experience as Radiologic Technologist II or equivalent.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Certification in at least one specialized area (Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography or PACS).
• Fluoroscopy permit from California Department of Public Health.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures with independent judgment.
• Operate imaging equipment as directed and select proper technical factors.
• Develop film and use PACS for image management.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and patient protection.
• Assist in training students and staff as needed.
