Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist II.
• BLS Basic Life Support certification.
• Certification in at least one specialty (Mammography/CT/MRI/Ultrasound/Angiography or PACS) per ARRT or internal program.
• Fluoroscopy permit issued by CA DHS.
• CA Radiologic Technologist license/certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with independent judgment as needed.
• Conduct general diagnostic and fluoroscopic duties as required.
• Produce radiographs, position and transfer patients; provide immobilization devices.
• Operate imaging equipment and select proper technical factors.
• Develop film and use PACS system for image management.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and patient protection.
