Job summary

AHMC Monterey Park Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the Radiology Department on a per diem, 8-hour variable shift. The role reports to the Supervisor and Director of Imaging Services and requires CA CDPH certification and BLS.

The selected candidate will perform imaging procedures, position patients, and uphold radiation safety standards while coordinating patient transport within the department.

Qualifications

• CDPH radiology/fluoroscopy certification required.
• AMA-accredited radiography program completed.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic images under supervision of the staff Radiologist.
• Explain procedures and position patients for imaging.
• Select technique parameters keeping ALARA in mind.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and readiness.
• Ensure radiation safety and transport patients as needed.
