Job summary

Alameda Health System’s Highland General Hospital is seeking a Radiology Technologist III (CT X-Ray) for the PM shift. You will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and conventional radiography, with attention to radiation safety and image quality.

The role requires ARRT certification, CA fluoroscopy permit, BLS, and mammography certification if performed, with the opportunity to train in multiple modalities and participate in student instruction where appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist II.
• Active ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification.
• California Fluoroscopy Permit.
• Mammography certification if mammographic exams are performed.
• BLS - Basic Life Support資格.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including CT and general radiography.
• Position and transfer patients and provide immobilization as needed.
• Select technical factors and operate imaging equipment as directed.
• Develop images and utilize PACS for image processing and storage.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Assist physicians in procedures and patient care during imaging.
• Instruct and train students when assigned.
• Maintain accurate records and department cleanliness.
