Qualificações

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of continuous recent experience as a radiologic technologist II.
• BLS - Basic Life Support Certification.
• Certification in at least one specialized area (Mammography, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography or PACS) evidenced by ARRT or internal program.
• Fluoroscopy Permit issued by the State of California.
• If mammographic examinations are performed, must have mammography certification.
• Valid certificate as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the State of California Department of Public Health.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification or equivalent education approved by the state of California.

Responsabilidades

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures with independent judgment.
• Produces radiographs and positions patients; provide immobilization devices.
• Operates imaging equipment and selects technical factors.
• Develops film and uses PACS system.
• Maintains radiation safety standards.
