This per diem, entry-level role requires adherence to radiation safety standards and accurate image production across flex shifts.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians, operating imaging equipment, developing films, maintaining records, and training staff when needed. Requires ARRT certification and state licenses.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification issued by AHA.
• Fluoroscopy permit within six months of hire.
• Mammography certification if mammography exams are performed.
• Valid ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification.
• California Radiologic Technologist certificate.

Responsabilités

• Assist physicians in administering opaque media as needed.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper equipment use.
• Develop film and utilize PACS system for image handling.
• Maintain records and assist in patient rooming.
• Ensure sterile technique and radiation safety standards.
• Produce radiographs and immobilize patients as required.
• Provide support in technical instruction and training as needed.
• Handle routine fluoroscopic procedures and angiographic tasks.

BLS - Basic Life Support Certification

Fluoroscopy Permit (CA)

Mammography certification (if performed)
