Job summary

Advocate Health in Rome, GA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, document patient history, verify identity, and assist in administering contrast media as required.

You will collaborate with radiologists, operate equipment, and maintain records while ensuring patient safety and quality care. ARRT-recognized education and BLS are required; registry eligibility within 1 year is expected, with occasional PRN weekends and travel to Calhoun as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Verifies patient identity before procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Operates radiography equipment and maintains correct positioning.
