Job summary

Atrium Health in Georgia seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, verify patient identity, and assist with contrast administration. The role requires ARRT-recognition eligibility and BLS. You will work Mon-Fri, with potential weekends, and support from radiologists. Travel to Calhoun as needed.

Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, patient safety, and documentation is essential. Excellent teamwork and communication with physicians are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire; BLS required.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development for patient populations served.
• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures with proper positioning and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to specific procedure on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification by verbal confirmation and validating proof of identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist and other physicians as necessary.
• Selects and operates equipment and demonstrates correct positioning.
• Maintains appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
