Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in Rome and Calhoun. The role requires registry eligibility within one year and completion of a ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.

You will verify patient identity, prepare contrast media, and consult with radiologists as needed. Travel between sites and strict safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Registry eligible with eligibility within 1 year of hire; BLS required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition.
• Verifies patient identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Consults with radiologist as necessary.
• Positions patients and operates equipment as required.
• Maintains records per departmental standards.
