Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic technology program.
• Registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date; BLS required.
• Demonstrates understanding of growth and development for patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history on requisition submitted by physician.
• Confirms patient identification and validates identity.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Collaborates with radiologist and physicians as needed.
• Selects and operates equipment and positions patients accurately.
• Maintains and records required departmental documentation.
