Job summary

Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Bentonville is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Walk-In Clinic. This full-time position (36 hours per week) requires ARRT R.T.(R) certification or eligibility within 12 months and an Arkansas RTL license.

You will perform routine radiographs, assist in patient care, and may travel to regional clinic locations to cover x-ray services. A $10K sign-on bonus and access to student loan repayment are available.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program, technical school, or nursing diploma.
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college is recommended.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification or eligibility within 12 months; RTL license in Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Develops skills to perform quality radiographs and patient care.
• Work in both main hospital setting and off-site clinic locations.
• Occasional travel may be required to cover regional clinic x-ray services.
• Follow departmental QC and exam data integrity workflow expectations.

Is learning to complete patient screening with attention to pregnancy, contrast and any contraindications, as well as understanding and utilizing contrast forms for contrast exams.3. Utilize designated communication devices and respond appropriately.4. Demonstrates increasing knowledge of all emergency equipment/supplies.5. Raises concerns related to patient care, patient safety or patient satisfaction to supervisor and leadership in a timely manner.6. Ensures work area is properly maintained.7. Performs other duties as assigned.
