Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital Bentonville Clinic is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist for the Ortho Walk-In Clinic PRN schedule. This role requires ARRT certification and an RTL license in Arkansas, with opportunity to gain pediatric imaging experience.

Responsibilities include performing radiographic exams, patient screening for pregnancy/contrast, proper equipment setup, and ensuring patient safety and image quality. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma.
• ARRT R certification or eligibility within 12 months of hire.
• Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) - Arkansas Department of Health.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university (recommended).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates increasing knowledge of correct & acceptable radiographic techniques & positioning.
• Learning to screen patients with attention to pregnancy, contrast and contraindications.
• Utilizes designated communication devices and responds appropriately.
• Demonstrates knowledge of emergency equipment and supplies.
• Raises concerns related to patient care, safety or satisfaction to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Description

• Demonstrates increasing knowledge of correct & acceptable radiographic techniques & positioning, in operating all equipment and sets up room/equipment appropriate for exam ordered.
• Is learning to complete patient screening with attention to pregnancy, contrast and any contraindications, as well as understanding and utilizing contrast forms for contrast exams.
• Utilize designated communication devices and respond appropriately.
• Demonstrates increasing knowledge of all emergency equipment/supplies.
• Raises concerns related to patient care, patient safety or patient satisfaction to supervisor and leadership in a timely manner.
• Ensures work area is properly maintained.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
