Job summary

Arkansas Children's Hospital seeks a PRN MRI Technologist in our MRI Department. The role is part-time and on-site, requiring enrollment in an accredited radiology program and providing clinical imaging under supervision.

Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, documenting patient records and quality checks, and assisting with room preparation and transport as needed. Some duties may be assigned as required.

Qualifications

• Performs radiology clinical work under supervision.
• Ensures age-appropriate patient care as needed.
• Maintains accurate patient records and quality control documentation.
• Adheres to safety protocols and clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Performs procedures directly supervised by AC team members.
• Ensures safe, knowledgeable age-specific clinical work.
• Completes documentation of patient records and Quality Control processes as needed.
• Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns as needed.
• May transport patients to other departments.
• May assist with holding/positioning patients as needed.
• May prepare and clean exam rooms.
• Provides comfort measures as needed.
• Utilizes appropriate diagnostic equipment and software as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
