Arkansas Children's is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Bentonville Walk-In Clinic. The role involves performing radiographic examinations, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to high-quality imaging services in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Required ARRT R certification within 12 months of hire, plus RTL license from the Arkansas Department of Health. This full-time position offers a $10K sign-on and loan repayment support to eligible imaging professionals.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university is recommended.
• ARRT R certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire or eligibility.
• Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) - Arkansas Department of Health is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate radiographic techniques and positioning for exams.
• Screen patients for pregnancy, contrast suitability, and contraindications.
• Communicate using designated devices and respond appropriately.
• Maintain emergency equipment and supplies.
• Report safety or patient care concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Keep work area clean and organized and perform assigned duties.
• Support team and contribute to patient care and workflow.

Description

• 1. Demonstrates increasing knowledge of correct & acceptable radiographic techniques & positioning, in operating all equipment and sets up room/equipment appropriate for exam ordered.
• 2. Is learning to complete patient screening with attention to pregnancy, contrast and any contraindications, as well as understanding and utilizing contrast forms for contrast exams.
• 3. Utilize designated communication devices and respond appropriately.
• 4. Demonstrates increasing knowledge of all emergency equipment/supplies.
• 5. Raises concerns related to patient care, patient safety or patient satisfaction to supervisor and leadership in a timely manner.
• 6. Ensures work area is properly maintained.
• 7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma
